The Student Union Board is the body that leads the activities of the Student Union and handles matters between the two major member meetings of the year – the assemblies. The board’s work consists of representing its members towards the university, municipality, cooperation partners, and county council. The board also deals with organizing major events and providing assistance to sub-organizations in their work.

In its role of representing the students, the board members sit in many important committees and councils internally at the university, as well as in organizations that influence education and student life nationally. In their work with events, the board holds the ultimate responsibility for, for example, the spring ball, introduction, and the career fair “Framtid” (Future).

As a member of the union, you can work in many different areas involving students and the university. You can be involved in events, marketing, finance, and much more. If you feel interested in any of these areas and want to improve student life here at the University of Skövde, then we recommend you to talk to the current board and run for election in the next round!
