Education
When you apply to a course or a program at a university l, you sign a contract that says that you will not cheat and that you will do your best to graduate. But this contract also puts pressure on that the school will give you quality education, and if they do not meet this quality, that’s where the student Union comes in.
If you have complaints about your education, feel that you have been faulty graded, been badly treated, that the quality is not match or anything educated realized, don’t second guess to contact us. We will help you to any extent that we can.
Apart from helping students with errands, we sit in every meeting the school has that affects education in any way, shape or form. Like the faculty board, the education committees, and the disciplinary board. The disciplinary board is quite special, for we sit on both sides of the table. We sit on the board to decide the outcome of the decision to be able to put in a student perspective, but also on the side of the student(s). If you get sent to the disciplinary board, then you have the right to have a student representative that the student Union provides. Where this person will sit with you, and make sure that you know that someone is on your side.

Section Education
The vice works full time and help with all questions related to education no matter what area it is, but sometimes their time is not enough, or their knowledge is not enough, so they take help from the sections. The sections education officers have more specified knowledge in their area of education. So say that a nurse has a problem with their education and the vice does not understand all that happens, then they will take help from, or ask to hand over the whole errand to the SköSjuk education officer. This works both ways. If the section education officer does not know how to handle an errand or does not have time, they can get help from the vice. But if you have an errand and is unsure who to contact, send it to the vice, and they can send it to the person who can handle the errand.
Once a week, all education officers will meet in the education forum, which is led by the vice, and they will discuss and help each other with errands and other education related questions.

The primary responsibility of the Vice Chairman is to address matters related to education and equality at the University of Skövde.
This role ensures that all students have access to support and guidance. If you need assistance, you are welcome to reach out to me or the education officer for your department.
Should you be unsure who your education officer is, feel free to send me an email, and I will provide the necessary information. It is important to note that while the Chairman and Vice Chairman perform their duties full-time, other members contribute on a voluntary basis as part of their personal development.
Therefore, we kindly ask that you maintain a respectful and constructive tone when interacting with all members who work on behalf of the Sections.
